Harmony was recorded in a variety of studios across New Zealand throughout 2013 and mixed at Bob Marley's own Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica with the legendary Errol Brown (Bob Marley & The Wailers, Damian Marley, Julian Marley and Lauryn Hill) at the production and engineering helm. 

Hailing from Aotearoa, House Of Shem are Carl Perkins, (former member of Herbs, Mana and The Twelve Tribes Of Israel) and two of his sons, Te Omeka and Isaiah Perkins. Each of the three band members has their own distinct song writing style and voice, effectively giving the band three lead singers with their unique family bond rendering their combined “sound” as something quite extraordinary. 

Since their formation, the band has toured New Zealand and the world extensively, playing alongside the likes of Lauryn Hill, Sly & Robbie and Shaggy. Already a regular fixture at New Zealand festivals such as Raggamuffin, Soundsplash, Parihaka Peace, One Love, Parachute and Big Day Out the band are also in high demand in New Caledonia, the Pacific Islands and Australia.
