Shrouded in the Mist', released in 2001, was the debut album from legendary Maori singer, Whirimako Black. 

The album contains a mixture of original and traditional songs some going back to the early part of the 19th Century. Lullabies, chants, and laments are all beautifully performed with excellent accompaniment using instruments from many eras. 

The album won "Best Maori Language Album" at the 2001 NZ Music Awards and is fast approaching Gold sales status.
